On the road to Monte Carlo

The 17th Winter Challenge to Monte Carlo enjoyed some excellent winter driving conditions on the route from Chantilly near Paris through Switzerland to the sporting finish at San Remo before the final morning run to the sunshine on the Monte Carlo harbourside.

The Dutch father and son pairing of Marcel and Alfons Geurts. won the Masters category handsomely. Their winning margin was a massive - by Winter Challenge standards - 3m 41s.

Winners of the popular Clubmen Category was the Morris Minor of Chris Scattergood and Simon Gilhooly with margin of just 7 seconds over second placed clubmen crew of Paul Gallegos and Stephen Knijff - Jaguar XK150 DHC.
