The 21st Classic Marathon - June 2009

January 15th update....
Four major events including two entirely new ventures, The Three Legs of Mann and The Classic Mountain Challenge, should make for a busy and exciting Classic Rally Association season in 2010.

The Three Legs of Mann - 18-20 March
In March we fulfil a long held ambition to visit the Isle of Man with this exciting new event, replacing the highly acclaimed Poppy Rally which will return in 2011. The 22nd Classic Marathon - 12-18 June
Plans are also progressing well for the 22nd Classic Marathon in June. Our recce team battled through snowy conditions just before Christmas to finalise an exciting new route from the heart of Burgundy to the Pyrénées. Competitors can look forward to the usual mix of good driving roads, well planned regularities and an interesting selection of driving tests. The Classic Mountain Challenge - 12-18 September
Keith Baud’s latest brainchild, The Classic Mountain Challenge, has captured the imagination of classic car enthusiasts new and old. It's a week long drive in September over many of the most famous cols in the French, Swiss and Italian Alps. It's not about outright speed, there will be few rules, no regularities and you choose your own route - however it's not as easy as it sounds. Looking Ahead

The 10th Rally of the Tests - 15-21 November 2010
Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2010, the Rally of the Tests will be a day or two longer than usual starting in Ireland and finishing in England. More details will be available on this site in March.

This short weekend in Belgium enjoyed the fabulous roads around Ypres that proved so popular on the 2008 Classic Marathon.
