The RAC British International Rallies of the fifties, known as "The Rally of the Tests" are fondly remembered by those who competed in them.

Since 2001 the CRA Rally of the Tests has recaptured the spirit, style and sounds of the '50s following the wheel tracks of those early events seeking out the finest rally-roads and most challenging tests.

Two years ago The Rally of the Tests started in Llandudno and finished in Bournemouth. This time we assemble in Bournemouth on the south coast for our Thursday "Prologue" before departing to the west and north on Friday and Saturday to reach the Llandudno finish on Sunday.

Along the way we will revisit some of the tests we have used before including Porlock Hill, Swynnerton Army Camp and The Great Orme at Llandudno. As well as these old favourites we can be sure that Fred Bent and his team will come up with several new and different venues as we revive once more the special atmosphere of "The Rally of the Tests".

During the 1950’s the entry on the RAC International Rally of Great Britain was restricted to 200 cars. For the eighth running of the CRA Rally of the Tests the entry will be limited to a more modest 90 vehicles. We look forward to seeing you in Bournemouth.

Please call or e-mail if you have questions.
